This project entails the renovation of the public toilets and
the surrounding vendor structures of the Kokstad taxi rank. The
requirements for this project include:
- Removing all the previous
ceramic material because they are easily damaged, and to
replace these with hard-wearing and easy-to-clean stainless
steel material.
- To install coin-operated
revolving gates at the entrances to the facility
- To appoint a janitor who will
be responsible for maintenance, cleaning and provisioning at
this facility. This will deter the misuse and vandalism of
this facility.
- To paint all the inner and
outer walls
- To replace any broken
fixtures
- To install new urinals
- To construct a paraplegic
toilet
- To paint all the outer walls
and the roof of the surrounding structures.
