GOAT EXPORTS STRONG IN 2005 Meat International Goat meat exports are at a record level this year, with 13 000mt exported during the first nine months of 2005, an increase of 11% on last year. The US is the largest export market for 2005, receiving 6,750mt, an increase of 5% on 2004 and more than half the total goat meat exports. Exports to Taiwan, Australia's second largest market, totalled 3,910mt, 29% higher than 2005. Goat meat exports to the Caribbean (1,100mt) rose by 8% compared to last year, exports to Canada (635mt) fell by 10%.
